For the most part, the following songs are ones that I used to perform live. I thought I might as well spread the love and teach them to you :)

They are in the keys that I sing them in, which will be perfect for some and not others. It's crucial that you play songs in the correct key for whoever is singing them ~ which is obvious to some folks. However, I've met many young performers and players who don't realise this - hence I feel the need to point it out.

I generally prefer to perform my own versions of covers....'original covers', if you like. Some of these versions are therefore quite different from the original. It's a matter of taste and style. I've found that I'm quite a frenetic player/singer, so my versions are often rockier and faster!

I encourage you to try and make any covers your own, as in the process I think you will discover your style. At the end of the day I firmly believe that you are best at being you, rather than copying anyone else.
